Chitra Sekaran, MD.
Chitra Sekaran is a board certified pediatrician and endocrinologist with extensive pharmaceutical product development experience in the pharmaceutical industry in addition to clinical practice and teaching. Dr. Sekaran is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at Cornell Medical College in New York. Dr. Sekaran brings unique combination of extensive medical affairs and clinical research experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Dr. Sekaran is well versed in the U.S. and international drug development issues and regulatory concerns. Dr. Sekaran has also held positions as Senior Director of Medical Affairs/Clinical Research at Astellas Pharma, PDL BioPharma, KOS pharmaceuticals, NPS Pharmaceuticals, Sanofi-Synthelabo, and as Medical Director at Hoffmann-La Roche in the United States. Dr. Sekaran brings vast experience of drug development in the areas of obesity, diabetes, osteoporosis, cardiovascular areas, hyperlipidemia, rheumatology, and infectious diseases. Dr. Sekaran has also developed close rapport with several key opinion leaders globally in many therapeutic areas. At Sanofi-Synthelabo, Dr. Sekaran played key role in successfully launching a blockbuster category cardiovascular drug Plavix (Clopidogrel®) for two major indications in the United States.

Dasarathy Srinivas is currently Chief of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Slidell Memorial Hospital in Slidell, LA. Dr. Srinivas has been actively involved in the medical practice in addition to teaching and clinical research. Dr. Srinivas has published several research articles in the peer reviewed medical journals in the area of gastroenterology and hepatology. Dr. Srinivas has been involved in conducting clinical trials in the area of gastroenterology and hepatology for U.S. and international pharmaceutical companies that include Schering Plough Pharmaceutical, Glaxo Wellcome, and Hoffman-La Roche.

Deepak Shrivastava is a professor of medicine, pulmonary and critical care, and a senior faculty in sleep medicine fellowship program at University of California in Davis. Dr. Shrivastava is also an adjunct professor of pharmacy at University of Pacific in Stockton, California. Dr. Shrivastava is currently Director of Clinical Research at San Joaquin General Hospital in French Camp, California. Dr. Shrivastava is an active researcher and inventor. His special interest in basic research is neurotransmitters and receptor physiology. Dr. Shrivastava pioneered well recognized National Sleep Medicine Course in 2005. He has been actively involved in medical practice in addition to teaching and clinical research. Dr. Shrivastava has conducted number of clinical trials for U.S. based pharmaceutical companies including Elli Lilly and Glaxo Wellcome.
Dr. Shrivastava is a board certified physician in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, and critical care medicine, sleep medicine, and polysomnography technology. Dr. Shrivastava was trained at Brooklyn Jewish hospital, State University of New York and University of California in Davis. Dr. Shrivastava is a recipient of many academic and service awards and fellowships. He is a member of the California Coalition for Compassionate Care. He is an ardent patient advocate and actively works to influence health care policy both at administrative and political level. Dr. Shrivastava enjoys reading, writing, music, tennis and skiing.

Ignatius Thomas, MD.
Ignatius Thomas is the founder and President of Cardiology Institute, a six-physician cardiology group in Slidell, LA. He had been actively involved in Cardiology practice in addition to teaching and clinical research. Dr Thomas established Medical Research Institute in 1994 and has conducted over one hundred clinical trials for U.S. and international pharmaceutical companies. He has published several research articles in peer-reviewed medical journals. His areas of interest include congestive heart failure, hypertension, coronary disease, and metabolic syndrome. Jayraman Rao, MD.
Jayraman Rao is a Professor of Neurology and Neuroscience, Carl Baldridge Chair for Parkinson's Research, Director of Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders Center at LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA. Dr. Rao has been actively involved in the medical practice in addition to teaching and clinical research. Dr. Rao has travelled widely to various U.S. and international centers to give talks on Parkinson's disease and movement disorders. Dr. Rao is the author of a book, author/co-author of 12 book chapters and has published over 45 research articles in noted peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Rao has been conducting clinical trials for Parkinson's disease and movement disorders and has completed over 30 clinical trials so far U.S. and international pharmaceutical companies. Dr. Rao is serving as advisor on the scientific advisory boards of Boheringer Ingelheim, GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), and Novartis.

Maninder Hora, PhD.
Maninder Hora is serving as Vice President, Process Development for PDL BioPharma since 2006. Before PDL BioPharma, Dr. Hora was Vice President of Process and Product Development at Novartis Pharma AG (formerly Chiron Biopharmaceuticals) in Emeryville, California. In this position, Dr. Hora led a large group of scientists and engineers who performed all activities relating to process, formulation, assay and device development of proteins, antibodies and small molecules for preclinical, clinical and lifecycle development stages of drug development. Prior to this, Dr. Hora held pharmaceutical and drug delivery-focused positions of increasing responsibility within Chiron. Dr. Hora served as a key member of various teams that successfully registered eight drugs/vaccines in the U.S. and Europe during his 20-year tenure at Chiron. Dr. Hora has also held positions at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals and GlaxoSmithKline PLC. Dr. Hora completed his Ph.D. in Bioengineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, India and was a Fulbright Scholar at the University of Washington, Seattle prior to joining the industry.
Marc Cantillon, MD.
Marc Cantillon is a double board certified by American Board of Neurology and Psychiatry, Geriatric, an executive with 15 years drug development experience and Chief Medical Officer at Wellness Management LLC., a global drug development consultancy based in New Jersey. Dr. Cantillon is also advisor to Bill Gates Foundation for drug licensing and third world development. Dr. Cantillon was consulted by pharmaceutical, biotech and venture investment firms that include NPS, Impax, Praecis, Bayer, Schering, Lilly, Pfizer, Elan, Sofinnova ventures, Polaris for clinical, licensing and regulatory matters. Dr. Cantillon has expertise in translational and development in diverse therapeutic areas broadly from infectious disease, HIV and osteoporosis but core expertise in the central nervous system area mainly anesthesiology, analgesia, neurology, and psychiatry. Dr. Cantillon has extensive U.S. and global clinical trial experience. Dr. Cantillon has also held position at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, Synthelabo Pharmaceuticals (merged with Sanofi) and Astra-Zeneca Pharmaceuticals. He helped Seroquel®, Effexor® development and their global registration in the blockbuster category.
Dr. Cantillon has co-produced two educational video films/documentaries related to psychiatric illness with APA group which won Emmy Award, National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences plus second prize, American Film and Video Festival, Chicago, both for "Through Madness" documentary on psychosis in 1992. Dr. Cantillon is an author/coauthor of 24 research articles published in the peer reviewed journals and two books.
